Well it has been a busy time for us at umi. Whether it has been getting our clients live with umi Marketing or helping our new clients using Bookitwith it has been an non-stop few weeks.

There has been some positive new from umi Hotel as well with the www.umihotellondon.co.uk site winning a Travel Mole Best Hotel website awards which was a great achievement. We have also some exciting possibilities for some new umi’s which of course we will let you know as soon as we can.

I have had a busy few weeks travelling too, with a trip to Venice for the day amongst other trips. Going up to the University of Salford tomorrow (that is where I went to University!) to attend an event in Media City. Really excited to see the transformation up there and will also get some nostalgic memories of my graduation day (which took place at the Lowry centre… that’s LowRy not Lowy!) . I also will be heading down to umi Brighton on Thursday afternoon to attend a little Summer get together that they are putting together in aid of some charities in the UK and Cambodia. Then off to Buckingham Palace to look around the state rooms on Friday afternoon…. ooooo la di da.

That is enough from me but will update you with some photos and other information.

As you can see it was a lovely sunny but very hot day in Brighton and there were loads of people out supporting all the runners which was fab. Well to cut a long story short. I did it. It was hot, my body still hurts 4 days on but I loved the experience of the 26.2 miles running around the city of Brighton. I would love to say I loved every moment , that would just not be true, but 95% of the journey felt great. I finished ain a reasonable time of 4hr 41 mins which is not bad considering the injuries I have had and the 24c heat ( I have a tan a look like I have been on holiday!) I will post some photos of the day later. Thanks go out to all of you that sponsored me … We have raised more than £1500 for Epilepsy Action which is just fantastic. They are a great charity and I urge you to raise some fund for them as the people that suffer from Epilepsy find their services amazingly helpful (www.epilepsyaction.co.uk ).
Just back from Moscow which was great and will update you on a few other things later this week including a guest post from our intern Lucas who will be doing an Americans Guide to London!!

Hey Guys. It has been a long time since Cambodia but last night we held a little fund-raising raffle at a party at the umi Hotel in London. All in all we have raised £200 which has been split between the 5 Charities I visited in Siem Reap! It was great and from my personal visits there I really know that the money will help the local people of Cambodia.
